Data protection policy
Protecting your personal data is a key concern for us. For this reason, we only process your data on the basis of the legal provisions (GDPR, Telecommunications Act (TKG) 2003). In this data protection policy, we will inform you of the most important aspects of data processing within the scope of our website.
If you get in touch with us using a form on our website, or by e-mail, we will store the data you provide for the purpose of carrying out your request and for a further six months in case of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
Online shop data storage
We would like to draw your attention to that fact that for the purpose of simplifying the purchasing process and subsequently fulfilling the contract with the online shop, cookies will be used to store the IP details of the internet connection holder, in addition to the name, address and credit card number/payment method of the buyer.
Furthermore, the following data will be collected by us for the purpose of fulfilling contracts: all data entered during the ordering process and the relevant product details in the order. The data provided by you is required in order to fulfil the contract or to take pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot conclude a contract with you. Data will not be transferred to third parties, with the exception of transferring credit card details/payment methods to the bank/payment service provider responsible for the transaction, for the purpose of debiting the price of purchase, to the transport/shipping company for delivering the goods and to our tax advisers to fulfil our legal tax obligations.
After the purchasing process is complete, the data we have stored will be erased. If a contract is concluded, all data relating to the contractual relationship will be stored until the end of the legal retention period for tax purposes (7 years).
Furthermore, the details regarding the name, address, goods purchased and date of purchase will be stored beyond this until the product liability lapses (10 years). All data processing is based on the legal stipulations of Art. 96 (3) of the Telecommunications Act (TKG) as well as Art. 6 (1) (a) (consent) and/or (b) (necessary for the performance of a contract) of the GDPR.
You can prevent this by changing your browser settings to stop cookies being stored. Your IP address is recorded but it is pseudonymised immediately by deleting the last 8 bits. This means that it is only possible to identify a rough location. No data is transferred outside the EU.
All data processing is based on the legal stipulations of Art. 96 (3) of the Telecommunications Act (TKG) as well as Art. 6 (1) (a) (consent) and/or (f) (legitimate interest) of the GDPR.
As defined by the GDPR (legitimate interest), our main concern is to improve our range of services and our online appearance. As our users’ privacy is important to us, all user data is pseudonymised.
User data is stored for a period of one year.
